Puppy Run
Pricing: $50/person
Duration: 1 Hour The Puppy Run was designed for the guests of all ages looking for a shorter mush while still experiencing the natural splendor of Alaska this option is for you! You will travel with your guide through spruce and birch stands and along willow thickets for approximately 20-30 minutes on the trail. This is a beginner friendly trail, perfect for riding in your guide's sled or learning to drive the tag sled. A tag sled is a secondary sled towed behind the primary sled, giving you the prime ability to learn to drive a dog sled. Upon returning to the kennel you will have the opportunity to meet your team, take photos, and warm up with refreshments. |

Mushing 101
Pricing: $125/person
Duration: 2 Hours Mushing 101 is our most popular option here at YoopAK Kennel. During your two hour experience you will be given an introduction to the world of dog mushing! After dressing in warm arctic wear you and your team will embark on a one hour mush through some of Alaska's most beautiful country. You have the opportunity to ride in the sled or for the more adventurous learn to drive the tag sled! A tag sled is a secondary sled towed behind the primary sled. While on the trail there will be plenty of photo opportunities and chances to switch between riding and driving. Upon returning to the kennel you will have the chance to meet all the members of you team, take photos, and warm up with refreshments. |

From Fairbanks. Head south on the Parks Highway towards Nenana and Denali National Park. We're located at Milepost 307.2 Parks Highway. Turn right onto a road marked by a large yellow sign reading CAUTION DOG TEAMS CROSSING. You will head down the road about three quarters of a mile. We are the second home on the right, From Healy, Denali, Anchorage. Head north on the Parks Highway, pass through the village of Nenana and cross the Tanana River. At Milepost 307.2 turn left onto a road marked by a large yellow sign reading CAUTION DOG TEAMS CROSSING. You will head down the road three quarters of a mile. |
